Shamanic Power of the Norse Berserkers

The spooky season is more or less over but thought this still fits the theme!

Viking Berserkers were shamanic warriors sacred to Odin who were able to use shamanic consciousness to give them superhuman strength, durability, and invulnerability to pain in battle. Unfortunately, the knowledge of how the Vikings achieved this has been lost. But it can sometimes still be unleashed uncontrollably, sadly usually as a result of drugs or mental illness. One well-documented case happened only a few years ago. A madman in this state was caught on camera rampaging down a street where he broke into the house of a top UFC fighter! They got into a fight, and to the amazement of many, the UFC fighter lost!
